AMEDD PERSONNEL PROPONENT DIRECTORATE (APPD)
We are the link between manpower and human resources...or to put it another way...we develop recommendations for spaces (positions) that turn into faces (Soldiers/employees).
We analyze, synchronize, and integrate AMEDD Personnel Development System life cycle management functions and force structure design with Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership/Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) changes
We are the link in building tomorrow`s AMEDD.
Force Structure Division The Force Structure Division supports and provides analytical advice and assistance for assigned functional areas throughout the Army and the AMEDD. Provides guidance and recommendations through development of optimization models to support decisions on recruitment, accessions, promotions, retirements, and the impact of structure changes to AMEDD officers, enlisted Soldiers, and Civilians. Serves as co-host of the annual AMEDD Command Grade Allocation Conference.
Back to top of page Officer Division The AMEDD Officer Personnel Proponent Division serves as the integration activity for recommending personnel management policies to the Army G-1 for AMEDD officer and warrant officer personnel using the Personnel Developer System of the eight personnel life-cycle management functions.Back to top of page Enlisted DivisionThe AMEDD Enlisted Personnel Proponent Division ensures the AMEDD Enlisted Force Structure meets the needs of the Army by analyzing, synchronizing, and integrating Personnel Development System life- cycle management functions with doctrinal and force structure changes.
